$150 ($75 for students)

Taught by Jeff Girard, PhD, Co-Director of KDSC

Many organizations are using analytics and visualization to support their decision-making and improve customer and shareholder value. This is a critical skill in many academic settings and business environments today. This workshop builds skills for data visualization in R. The workshop provides an overview of some of the classic visualization libraries in R (ggplot2) and will give participants a hands-on experience in basic principles for creating meaningful displays of quantitative and qualitative data to facilitate decision-making using data science techniques as part of the data project lifecycle.

This workshop is offered in-person at the University of Kansas or online. Please note while registering if you will attend in-person or online. Those registering for online attendance will receive instructions for how to access the virtual platform for the workshop.
